OUR FOUNDERS

Falcon Garden Tools is a leading manufacturer of Garden Tools in India. Established in 1988 in a small workshop of 400 sq. ft. in Ludhiana, Mr. S. P. Singh Dua along with brothers. Back in 1988, traditional garden implements hand made by the blacksmiths from villages were available to the gardeners who tended the gardens & vineyards. These implements, though did their intended job of pruning, hurt the Gardner which slowed down the pruning process as keenly observed by Mr. S. P. Singh Dua. He was convinced that an operator friendly & ergonomically designed implement was necessary for improving the efficiency of pruning as well as reduce the fatigue of the gardeners. The ergonomics and ease of usage also opened new opportunity of self use by home users, house wives and other users with low skill which eliminated the need for specialized gardeners. Their clarity of understanding of the end customer’s need has yielded into a array of products catering to a wide range of requirement in Horticulture.

OUR INFRASTRUCTURE

The vision of the board has lead to a multiple growth of the company from a modest beginning in a 400 sq. ft. work shop to the present modern manufacturing plant of above 1,00,000 sq. ft. with the latest state of art manufacturing facility comprising of machines from Japan, Germany, Italy and Sweden has given a further leading edge in this competitive sector. Though there is modernization of the plant to cater to the new and existing products, there are old manufacturing methods which are still being used to manufacture certain product due to cost competiveness.

This company, which is family owned is run like a professional company keeping in view all the values and interest of customer and employees. The second generation of the Singh family is heading prime functions of the company and are moving ahead in business, keeping a balance between the market need as well as upholding the values that the 1st generation has created in the 3 decades.
